Why pay more..? You're not getting more.
The factory Jeep Cherokee track bar locates the front axle side to side on the vehicle. It is located at the driver's side framerails and runs down to the passenger of the front axle.
When lifted, the track bar creates a diagonal line and shortens the distance between the mounting points thus shifting the axle towards the driver's side.... the axle becomes cockeyed.
This effect is definetely noticeable with lifts over 3". A worn and misaligned track bar can also lead to the dreaded DEATH WOBBLE on our Jeeps.
The Rocky Road Jeep Cherokee track bar kit eliminates these problems by mounting it in the original location and having an adjustable tie rod end recommended for lifts 3-6" in height.
Jeep Cherokee Track Bar kits come powdercoated in black.
NOTE: Rocky Road also makes track bars for RHD Jeeps (for Jeepers in many other parts of the world). Minimum recommended lift height for the track bars on RHD Jeeps is the same at 3" of lift.
