Rocky Road Toyota Sequoia Series Rock Sliders are the creme' de la creme' of the rocker protection world. We use 3/16" inner hitch steel to make sure your bars do NOT bend! Anything other than hitch steel is just plain flimsy.
We use thick inner hitch steel to make sure your bars do NOT bend! Anything else is just plain flimsy. Most other Toyota Sequoia Series Rock Sliders are made from thin 1/8" wall tube material. Alot of shops refer to these as Nerf bars, an appropriate name since they will ofer about as much protection to your vehicle as a Nerf toy product would.
Our mounting system simply cannot be bent or damaged. We pick up these trucks with forklifts with our rock sliders (pics coming soon). The kits are mounting to heavily reinforced structural panels on the vehicle, and the engineered mounting system is stronger than any simple frame mount setup on the market. It is a more complex and well engineered mounting system than a simple frame mount and our lifetime guarantee backs that fact up!
Why hitch steel?
Why not go with a lesser gauge steel to save production costs?
Because we wouldn't trust anything less to protect our vehicles and neither should you! Besides, since these carry the Rocky Road **lifetime guarantee**, we don't want to have to replace them for you for free every couple years or so. We made them indestructible so they'll last forever and they are guaranteed forever, NEVER to bend on you!
You'll find the Toyota Sequoia Rock Sliders are very attractive and will blend in nicely with your stock flares and moldings as pictured to the right. They run fender to fender and many folks have commented on their very OEM (factory) look. They tuck tighter to the body than any other rocker on the market as well.
Notice the close up picture of a Rocky Road rock slider kit. See the beveled edge? The nice 45* ramp which would slide up and over any rock or stump on the trail? Its takes more time and effort to manufacture the kits this way, but that's all included with the Rocky Road kits.

Toyota Sequoia Superslider and Kicker Rock Slider protection These rocker bars offer all the strength and warranty of our regular Rockrails, but with the added bonus of an additional secondary tube. This secondary tube can provide even more protection against sliding into rocks, trees, or other trail hazards. Everyone who has seen these on our shop 4x4s has wanted a pair. They are unequaled in strength and looks.
The Superslider and Kicker Rock Sliders kits provide an excellent jack point for a Hi-Lift or other style jack and are plenty strong to serve as a jack or side-pull winch point. The Kicker style kit also makes for a nice step for access to roof racks and such with the diamond plate rear section.
Each Superslider and Kicker slider kit mounts identical to the standard Rockrail for the vehicle. It also still features that great looking 45* front and rear edge. Not only good for looks, but alot more practical for trail use than our competition's squared off ends. This is basically the same proven design as our world famous Rockrails, only with the extra slider tube up top.
