In a world with so many options,  we want you to be a 100% satisfied with your purchase.  However, we understand this isn't always possible with a wide genre of expectations in today's constantly changing times.  Due to specific and new manufacturer refunding/non refunding (custom order) processes, their updated policies, changes in banking services, fraudulent claims, economic turn-downs, and challenges of Payment processing policy changes we have had to change and adjust our policies in accordance to protect both you the customer and ourselves.

You can email us from our contact page here - www.12degnorth.com/contact with the your Order Number and reason for return to start the refund purpose.

Regular Store Items

  • 12° Degrees North Industries WILL NOT GIVE A REFUND ON ANY PARTS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN PRE-APPROVED.  We require you call or email us for a RA# prior to returning any parts.  We may ask for photos of the products emailed to us prior to approving a refund.  NO CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN ON ANY PARTS RETURNED WITHOUT AN APPROVED RA# INSIDE THE PACKAGE YOU ARE RETURNING TO US

  • NO credits will be given on ANY products past 30 days from your delivery date.

  • Used or damaged items/packaging will not be accepted for refund

  • Some refunds may carry a minimum re-stocking fee of up to 20% from the original purchase price minus discounts used.  Shipping costs will not be refunded

  • You are responsible for all shipping costs on ALL return items you are submitting to us for a refund.  If you ship an item back to us that we deem is in good condition, we may not offer a refund.  If this is the case, we can ship this part back to you and YOU must pay for all shipping costs

  • All Returns must be  repackaged to eliminate damage during shipping back to us.  Products damaged during the return ship process back to 12° Degrees North Industries are the full responsibility of you and the shipping company in which you choose.  If your item is damaged, lost, or stolen its on you.  We do recommend insuring your shipment back to us.

  • All orders which are cancelled due to not being in stock or because they are back ordered will carry a 20% cancellation fee.  Most products current availability is out of our hands and we cannot control when most products will be available to us. WE DO NOT CONTROL THE INVENTORY OF OTHER COMPANIES, therefore we don't always know when products will be available to complete orders

  • By clicking the confirm order button, you are authorizing the total amount of money due at that time, to be billed to your credit card or PayPal account

  • Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.  Perishable goods such as food are the premium example. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gasses.

  • Additional non-returnable items: Custom fabricated or made to order items: (bumpers, rack systems, swing-out bumpers, etc.. after 72 hrs of placing your order), gift cards, downloadable software or firmware products, some health, and personal care items

  • Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer, they will not be accepted

  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable) Items with obvious signs of use or installation, any item not in its original re-sellable condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, any item that is returned after 21 days

  • There is a flat 20% restocking fee.., Yes we know but PayPal and merchant services are no longer returning certain portions of processing fees and other fees resulting in us being penalized for your returned item.  (Honestly, we would rather you be confident in your initial purchase than charge you a restocking fee or pay merchant services for the convenience of their customers to use Debit/Credit cards on top of losing the sale after the fact)

  • Once your item is authorized, ship the product back with a tracking number in new condition with app packaging, parts, labels, and shipping materials included. PLEASE, make sure the product is packaged in a way to protect it during shipping - just like we shipped it to you

  • You are responsible for damage in transit.  Make sure that your package is fully insured for 100% of the value of the purchase price to protect yourself from damage in transit and claims

  • Flat Rate Shipping with USPS is recommended when possible on smaller items

  • Products must be returned unused

  • Once your approved return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we had received your return item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund

  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain amount of days

  • Base-Camp Classes and third-party classes may be refunded up to 14 days before the first day of class

  • Sale items, open box sales, or final sales are not accepted for returns

Made to Order Items (November 1, 2021)

  • We do offer a 12 day window of complete cancellation on made to order items.  However, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange on these items after the 21 day window.*

  • Custom fabricated, made to order items: (bumpers, rack systems, swing-out bumpers, etc..) after the 21 day cancellation window are NON REFUNDABLE.  In some cases, such as total loss of a vehicle, we may commit to an exchange of product for another vehicle of the same but of a different year, make, or model.  i.e. you total out your '04 Xterra and purchase a new '22 Nissan Frontier.  An exchange for equal store credit may also be offered.

  • Custom fabricated, made to order items: (bumpers, rack systems, swing-out bumpers, etc..) outside of the 21 day cancellation window that CANNOT be manufactured because a manufacturer has exited the industry, closed their doors, refuses the order, those orders WILL BE completely REFUNDED in full.  In the case where a manufacturer cannot produce a product due to exiting the industry, understand we may not receive your funds back right away, many times those funds may come out of us, after a 14 day period after the confirmation that those funds are lost to a supplier and we take responsibility for said refund.

  • There are lead times associated with these items, we also understand that many  of our patrons and newer customers have trips and events planned in advance that they hope to have product in time for and we do our best to to orchestrate and/or meet timelines whenever possible but we cannot guarantee delivery dates at this time.

  • Lead times are given to us by the manufactures and are approximate only at this time.  There are times where some orders may be completed/shipped earlier than quoted as much as the possibilities some other orders may be a little longer and could be out of our immediate control. ALL Orders WILL BE SHIPPED unless notified otherwise.

  • All customer made to order items including but not limited to; bumpers, sliders, skid-plates, tire carriers, hidden winches, custom leaf/coil rated springs, coilovers, or anything custom powder coated carries a 25% "cancellation" fee regardless if the item has been packaged, built, or shipped!  This includes all Rocky Road Outfitters, Demello, Hefty Fab, P&P Engineering, Alcan Spring, Deaver Springs, Warn Bumpers, Radflo, King Shocks, Shrockworks, CBI, Fox custom shocks, Heps Designs, or CoverKing, et al products.  WE DO NOT CONTROL THE INVENTORY OF OTHER COMPANIES, therefore, we don't always know when products will be available to complete orders

  • We try to get shipping quotes on these items as quickly as possible, some items are faster than others, many of these items are truck freighted by freight companies

  • Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer, they will not credit you or refund the order(s)

  • If you are unsure of your purchase, please, do not order if you're likely to change your mind easily or have commitment concerns

  • Merchant services, PayPal, and the like have recently again changed their TOS (Terms Of Service) to include penalties for an increase in returns/refunds and passing them onto the business itself taking the loss of a sale beyond just that.  It is no longer a matter of refund a sale, and make up for the loss, we are actually being penalized for a return, disputed or not

Purchase Protection, from PayPal site

Purchase Protection covers all eligible purchases where PayPal is used, as well as payments made through our website.  To take advantage of Purchase Protection, we require, among other things, that PayPal accounts be kept in good standing and ask that a dispute be filed within 180 days of your purchase or payment.

What’s not covered with PayPal Purchase Protection

  • Real estate

  • Motorized vehicles

  • Custom-made goods that are significantly not as described

  • Industrial machinery

  • Prepaid cards

  • Items that violate our policies

  • Anything bought in person (not over the internet)

  • Send Money transactions to friends or family

  • Disputes filed more than 180 days after the purchase for item not received and significantly not as described claims

  • Unauthorized transaction claims reported more than 60 days after the transaction date of the transaction

  • Items that were described accurately by the seller

  • Donations including payments on crowdfunding platforms

What’s covered with PayPal Purchase Protection

  • You bought a book, but received a DVD

  • You bought an item described as “new,” but received something that was used

  • You purchased 3 items, but only received 2

  • The item was damaged during shipping

  • The item is missing major parts (that the seller didn’t report)

  • You purchased an item described as authentic, but received a knockoff instead

Exchanges or Change Orders

To request an exchange or a change-order, DO NOT EMAIL.. Please call us at 702.781.0302 to place a new order or change your order within 48hrs of placing your original order.  You’ll be charged/refunded the difference for this new order when it ships.

Once we receive your return in proper condition, a refund will be processed to your original form of payment.

NOTE:: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Pinwheel, Bitcoin or Crypto-Currencies, and your specific bank all have their own return processing policies & procedures and may prolong your returned funds to your accounts beyond the aforementioned 72 hour scope in which we issue the return. We do not have any control once the funds are returned and once the return is done, it cannot be reversed.

Instructions

Print a copy of your Authorization Email or the Return Merchandise Authorization included in an email (or download it here (soon)) and send it with the unused items you wish to return. We do require purchasing of tracking and insurance on the delivery for 100% of its value. Items must be returned as described above in original condition to our New Main Warehouse following address:

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to contact you for an RMA number before I send in my item?

A: Yes, we do issue RMA numbers at this time. Please send your item back to us by following the instructions above.

Q: Do you accept returns of final sale items?

A: Sorry, we do not accept returns or exchanges on final sale merchandise, online or in store. Prices ending in $ .97/ .93 or $ .50 indicate a final sale purchase on discontinued,. Samples, prototypes, and seconds are sold "as is" and are not eligible for warranty coverage.

Q: Do you accept returns on underwear or undergarments?

A: Given the personal nature of this type of product, we do not accept returns or exchanges, online or in store; however, these products are still covered under our warranty policy if a defect is present. Please take a close look at our product brand Fit Guides to ensure that you select the right size. Our Customer Support team is available to help you make the best decision.

Q: I received a gift and need to return it. What do I need to do?

A: Send back your unused gift items by following the return process & the instructions above. Once we receive and approve the return you’ll receive a store credit in the form of a gift certificate or a store credit for the current selling price of the items.

Q: I bought an item in your retail store and would like to return it by mail. Can I do this?

A: Yes, you may return items purchased in our retail store by mail following the instructions provided above but we would prefer if you are local to us for faster service, it may be better to come back. If you must use a mail in return because you have moved or visiting during the time of your purchase, be sure to follow the above process & instructions listed above; include your invoice information with the return and your refund will be issued in the form of a gift certificate.

Q: I bought an item online and would like to return it to your retail store location. Can I do this?

A: No, please return items purchased online by mail following the process & instructions provided above. Be sure to include your invoice information with the return and your refund will be credited to the original form of payment.

Q: Can I return a gift certificate that I purchased?

A: Sorry, gift certificates are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

Q: I used a promo code to purchase the items I’m returning. How will this affect my refund?

A: You can still return items purchased with a promo code unless it was an open box or discontinued sale item. Your refund amount will reflect the amount you actually paid and you will not be issued a new promo code.

As a safeguard against potential abuse, fraudulent, unreasonable, excessive, returns 12° Degrees North Industries reserves the right to deny anyone who has made what we determine to be excessive, unreasonable, or fraudulent return requests.

 

Whereas we, 12° Degrees North Industries, respect your consumer rights, please be mindful that we, 12° Degrees North Industries, are a family owned business.  We, 12° Degrees North Industries, are not Amazon and that we have a process that we, 12° Degrees North Industries, adhere to in order to both be consistent and streamlining a process that seems to be under constant adaptation to the online shopping landscape by keeping costs down for you the consumer. 

 

We, 12° Degrees North Industries, at the end of the day are also someone customers and consumers ourselves so our processes keep that in our mind while handling your experience with us.

There are NO Federal laws in the United States to regulate if a business can or cant implement a NO refund policy.  Those regulations are left to the individual States in order to protect certain rights and or privileges.  Your purchase is committed in the beautiful State of Nevada, there's no right to cancel contracts or purchase agreements.  Whether you can receive a refund is dependent on the retailer's return and refund policies .

Paid Base-Camp classes may be refunded up to 14 days before the first day of class.
