The Propex Heatsource HS2211 heater is an automatic thermostatically controlled blown air heating system fueled by propane.
 
The Propex Heatsource HS2211 heater is designed for mounting the unit underneath the vehicle; various bracket fixings allow different positions and orientations for mounting, increasing fitting options under floors or up between chassis rails (We have also heard of this unit being mounted inside the camper vertically, taking up much less valuable space than other models).
 
Simple intuitive controls give easy heater control and a constant heater feedback loop enables quick and easy system diagnoses. Comes complete with all ducting, vents, brackets, and control cables to complete the installation.
 
Underfloor mounting
The Propex HS2211 is a weatherproof, externally mounted unit perfect for campervans, trailers, tiny homes, semis, boats, even rooftop tents - anywhere you need reliable heat without taking up valuable cabin space. 
 
Various bracket fixings allow different positions and orientations for mounting, increasing fitting options under floors or up between chassis rails. Space is always particularly valuable and these external mounting options make sure your cabin is kept as free as possible. This feature also allows for greater freedom in interior design.
 
Quieter by design
We always choose the finest motors and fans for blown air heaters. This combined with clever electronics means that any noise is kept to a bare minimum. You will notice how much quieter a Propex furnace is when compared to a regular space heater.
 
Do I need the Propex high altitude model?
Much like when you climb a mountain, combustion heaters need to breathe a little harder at elevation.  With the proprietary modifications we perform in-house, your Propex will run reliably at 9,000… 10,000… 11,000 feet, meaning you’ll have clean, dry heat when you need it most. 
 
If you plan to regularly camp at elevations higher than 7,500 feet (2286 meters), we recommend one of the Van Cafe modified heaters.  Simply select the High Altitude model in the drop down above. The High Altitude model will also run great at sea level so its a win win!
