Finally....roller rockers for the 4L enthusiasts!
These roller rockers are available as a bolt-on/adjustable, or for reliable ultimate racing with screw in studs & proper guide plates for the application.
Your original rockers are 1.5:1 ratio, on top of being flat-tappet style, and not being a roller rocker. By installing 1.8:1 roller rockers you will gaining over 0.080 lift, at the valve, while not changing the duration at all, which will increase the air flow ratio coming into the engine, as much as a cam would do, but without the added expensive of upgrading your camshaft, upgrading your engine management system, and adding additional and costly shop rates, as many can install these themselves.
What makes these roller rockers unique, is the kits exclusive designed lifters. These lifters are the better choice, to keep the rockers properly lubricated by channeling the oil through new push rods, to the rockers providing proper top end lubrication modifying oil flow characteristics.
The stock push rods in Ford 4.0L OHV engines do not typically have oil holes. These engines rely on hydraulic lifters and a pressurized oiling system that routes oil through the lifters and up to the rocker arms via internal passages—not through hollow push rods with oil holes like some other engine designs.
You can expect upto 25 hp and 35 lbs torque gains (Flywheel) depending on other mods or tuning, could increase these figures.
